The R C I A (Rite of Christian Initiation
of Adults) is a 1- to 2-year process by which adults usually
become members of the Roman Catholic Church.
A team at Holy Cross Parish is always ready to give instruction
and journey with those who wish to know more about the Catholic faith
or wish to be received into our community.
Full reception with Baptism, Confirmation and
Eucharist (Communion) normally takes place at the Easter Vigil.
We also welcome adults who have been baptized and wish
to complete their initiation, i.e., Confirmation and Eucharist.
|
Regular scheduled R C I A sessions are held, in a friendly
atmosphere, on Thursdays at 7:30 to about 9 pm from late-September to
mid-May.
If you are interested or know of someone who should be
invited, please phone Mark Underhill (250-477-5364) or our parish office (250-477-5321) for more information.
More information to follow re the start up date and time.
